A little mom & son fashion!

As far as fashion goes I've always opted for the "deals". I barely buy any clothing that is considered an expensive brand (but if the opportunity presents itself why not, right?). My outfit total cost was about $70.00, maybe less! I tend to buy my stuff at the total fashion stores as well as the shoes. I love the selection they have and it also fits me perfect because I'm on the smaller size.

A portrait of my son

I've missed blogging most of Lucas growth and all his beautiful accomplishments. So now is time to catch up!

• Lucas learned to crawled when he was 5 months (3/31/14) I remember that day so clearly because I was at my mom's house and an hour after he crawled we had an earthquake! YIKES! But it was a beautiful accomplishment!
• 6 months (4/30/14) he said his first word & oh so clearly "MAMA" it honestly brought tears to my eyes!
• 7 months he said papa & learned how to splash water (5/9/14) & also took his first steps all on his own! 

Beautiful times indeed! Below are some pics I've taken over the last few months of my little one. His smile, the way he sleeps, laugh, he just brings so much joy to our lives!

My walking little bebe

At 7 months my little bebe took his first steps! It was a magical, emotional, how can this be happening moment for Daniel and I. As happy as it made us see Lucas take his steps, it was also a little WOW moment! Just a few months ago I was giving birth to a 9lb 1 oz baby and now there he is, walking all on his own!

I'm really looking fwd to all the new milestones our little guy will be doing!

Iced Nutella Mocha

Craving something sweet?! As a mom there are times when I wish I could drive to a Starbucks and get the biggest coffee possible, but let's face it, sometimes that's a bit impossible! So that's when Pinterest comes handy and I get to experiment!

I love Nutella & I love coffee so why not combine them! I found the most amazing recipe for an iced coffee that includes, you guessed it...N U T E L L A! It came out delicious. I will be trying this more often! It took me literally less than 5 mins to get it done.

Ingredients [ I did not have vanilla nor condense milk & in my opinion it was not necessary because the nutella is sweet enough, but is really up to you and your taste]

Prep 5 min

2 tablespoons nutella

2 cups of milk (I used almond/coconut milk)

3 tablespoons condensed milk (DID NOT USE)

2 teaspoons instant coffee powder 

3 teaspoons vanilla essence (DID NOT USE)

½ cup ice cubes

It's been a while since I last posted something! Having a baby really does take up a lot of my time. My little one is already 10 months!! He walks already (he started walking at 7 months), says "PAPA", loves to take off his diaper & run a la nude', gives adorable kisses & hugs and is getting chunkier by the minute. He has truly been a blessing in our lives.

We took a mini trip to Dallas (July 25-27) We got to see the AT&T Stadium, go toFt. Worth Zoo & eat some delicious IN & OUT AAAAHHH!! Lucas had a good time, that little boy was so happy when we got to the hotel, running around and dropping things to the floor and he was entertain by all the animals. It was a good time. We can't wait to take other trips and see the new lovely state that we live in!
