Babymoon-Week 34

We had our babymoon this past weekend and we decided to stay local. We love going to San Diego because it's so relaxing and beautiful--we stayed at the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina. The hotel was amazing and because it's been so warm in SoCal we spent most of our time indoors (enjoying the lovely AC) .

Here's my 34 week update: "Baby Butternut Squash"
  • He weights in at about 4.2-5.8 lbs
  • Measures 17.2-18.7 inches
  • He recognizes and reacts to simple songs--so I better start singing to him

Symptoms: I run out of air & I get extremely exhausted

Queasy/Sick: None

Best Moments: Feeling Lucas moves, the lovely shower I got at work (I'll post pics later on) and the doctor told me that I do not have gestational diabetes.

Belly Button: Innie/Outie

Weight Gain: 27 lbs. I've only gained 1 lb since my last visit to the doctor

Movements: Tons of them & he loves to kick my ribs!

Cravings: Cranberries

Ring: I can still wear it

Stretch Marks: Minor ones by my belly button but the Bio Oil has really helped minimize the scars

Miss Anything: Sleeping!!

Are you showing: Yes I am

As you can tell by my facial expression the water was EXTREMELY cold but very refreshing.

Our Honeymoon

It’s been a year and almost 7 months since we got married and I never got around posting our honeymoon pictures. Let me start by saying that I am one lazy person when it comes to vacationing. I love doing absolutely nothing and I much rather sit by the beach or pool, tan, eat, sleep & enjoy my time off. I’m fortunate enough to have married someone who is just as lazy as I am when it comes to going on vacation. When we started planning our honeymoon we decided to go to Cancun, MX. We have a serious obsession with visiting different beaches around the world (preferably clear, warm, beautiful ones). We stayed at the Gran Melia. Our stay was for a week and it was a relaxing experience. The food was delicious, the beach was so clear & warm, the pool area was incredible and I’m happy to say that all we did was eat, relax, sleep, eat some more, sleep, eat..did I mention eat?! The only extra activity we did was snorkeling and at the end of the day we were exhausted lol! But we can’t wait to continue our mini adventures as a couple and now as a family of 2.5 as we like to refer to ourselves.

*I didn't take my camera so all pictures were taken with my iPhone*
