Portrait of my son

Well I've been MIA for a while now (once again) We took a family trip to California and I stayed behind to spend more time with my family. It's been fun and I'm loving the fact that Lucas is spending so much time with everyone. He absolutely loves the attention (mmm I wonder where he got it from lol) Here are some fun things my little one is doing:

1. Says mama, papa & agua
2. Loves to give big bear hugs & watch out ladies he might get a bit frisky and put his hands on your shirt! :-/  The funny thing is he will look at you and give you a little smile & it just melts your heart hahaha! TRAVIESO!
3. He walks, runs, loves to climb stairs
4. Has 8 teeth
5. Has a love/hate relationship with naps
6. Not a big TV lover but loves Peppa Pig
7. Loves to read and flip the pages
8. He does the "viejita" face and it is hilarious
9. He will climb A N Y T H I N G!
10. He does this "karate/matrix" move where he lifts his hands and takes little steps, cracks me up every time! Hopefully I can take a video.
11. Loves to bite, yikes!

Overall he is a wonderful, loving, unique baby boy! We love you Lucas!

My walking little bebe

At 7 months my little bebe took his first steps! It was a magical, emotional, how can this be happening moment for Daniel and I. As happy as it made us see Lucas take his steps, it was also a little WOW moment! Just a few months ago I was giving birth to a 9lb 1 oz baby and now there he is, walking all on his own!

I'm really looking fwd to all the new milestones our little guy will be doing!

Lucas first visit to Disneyland 12-16-13

We took Lucas to his first big outing, Disneyland. To be very honest we were scared on how everything was going to go--stroller, carrier, diaper bag, all those necessities that we as parents need when you have a two month old and you decide to take him to Dland. Overall it was a great experience, Lucas was so well behaved and he loved being outdoors. The noises, colors, rides, decor was all so entertaining to him. Daniel was carrying him most of the time in a baby carrier (first time trying it) and he loved it as well.

Here are the pictures of our mini adventure at Disneyland (as you can see most of the images are of Lucas because yes I'm that mom that takes tons of pics of her baby)

Mustache Bash Baby Shower

I must say Lucas will be loved by so many once he arrives. We've been fortunate enough to have had several baby showers for him. He received so much and we are thankful for that. At this point I'm feeling so anxious to meet him.

Thank you once again to our family and friends for the lovely baby showers and I'm sure  all of you are as excited as Daniel and I are to meet the little one.
